Fancy Markhee is a very talented and athletic horse, with a gentle disposition. He is extremely intelligent and easy to work with. His foals have been absolutely "cake" to break and train. He has been shown by young children in Hunt Seat Equitation and Hunter Pleasure 13 & Under.
Fancy Markhee is an accomplished show horse, with titles in several divisions. In the Class "A" Arabian circuit, he has qualified for Regionals in Halter, Western Pleasure, Hunter Pleasure, Show Hack and First and Second Levels Dressage. He has won two Regional Top Fives in First Level Dressage. He is also a Halter Champion and Western Pleasure Champion.
In Open competition, he has competed at Novice level in Combined Training, Open Hunters, and AHSA Open Dressage shows.
